SCENT
This performance was commissioned by the Latrobe Regional Gallery for the closing event of their exhibit, Scent. The score is a combination of notated, semi-notated and fully improvised sections, and responds to the surrounding exhibit of perfume bottles.
For thirty minutes prior to the performance, an audio installation featuring the voices of the Latrobe Valley Community Choir welcomed the audience into the space.

The Water Concerto
After the success of ANAM Artists: Perth, the Holmes à Court Gallery asked myself and Thea Rossen (representing the Ad Lib Collective) to perform it again as part of their Perth Festival exhibit Strangers on the Shore.
This new performance included group improvisations and a sound installation by John Pax, both of which responded to the surrounding artwork.

Echoes and Songs
Echoes and Songs (later named il y a - memory of a word lacking) was a performance of music by John Pax, who at the time was finishing his PhD at Harvard University. It was a collection of musical fragments woven together into a single performance, which asked audiences to listen in new and unexpected ways.

Hosted by Janet Holmes à Court and presented by the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), this concert was a way to say thank you to donors and supporters throughout my time at ANAM.
The concert featured ANAM alumni performing Tan Dun’s visually and aurally spectacular Water Concerto.
